SXNU Signs “3+1+1” Joint Training Program Agreement with National University of Singapore
Following thorough communication and negotiation with the National University of Singapore (NUS), SXNU recently signed and implemented the “3+1+1” Joint Training Program Agreement. This program is designed for undergraduates majoring in Materials Chemistry in the College of Chemistry and Materials Science. Under the program, students need to complete the first three years of undergraduate studies at SXNU—hence “3”; take a one-year bridging program at the NUS (Suzhou) Research Institute—the first “1”; and then pursue a one-year master’s program at NUS—the second “1.” Upon meeting the requirements, students will receive a master’s degree certificate from NUS.
The signing of this agreement represents a breakthrough in SXNU’s cooperation with internationally renowned universities, a step forward in joint training initiatives, and a significant advancement in international collaboration driven by individual colleges. It also provides a model and reference for future cooperation with other top-tier international universities.
NUS is a world-class university, ranking 11th in the 2020 QS World University Rankings and first in Asia. (Contributed by the International Exchange and Cooperation Office)
