On December 22, the State Language Commission officially announced the list of institutions selected for the third batch of National Language Promotion Bases, and SXNU has been successfully included.

National Language Promotion Bases serve as vital pillars supporting the high-quality development of education and the language sector in the new era. In recent years, SXNU has attached great importance to language work, thoroughly implementing the guiding principles set out by General Secretary Xi Jinping on language affairs. Aligning with national development strategies and drawing on our distinctive strengths as a normal university, we have focused on building a Chinese-language education service system to boost China’s strength in education, introducing new models for promoting Putonghua (Standard Chinese) to advance rural revitalization in all respects, optimizing mechanisms for disseminating China’s outstanding language and cultural heritage to help boost China’s cultural development, and strengthening the educational function of language to reinforce ideals and convictions. Through these initiatives, we have established a distinctive approach to language work, earning widespread public recognition. Being selected as a National Language Promotion Base marks a milestone achievement in SXNU’s language endeavors.
